Streamline founder, CEO and Chairman, Cheryl offers more than 25 years of experience in government, nonprofit and commercial acquisition, budgets and cost accounting inclusively. Her extensive professional background combines practical education with solid work with many successful federal contractors in the Washington Metropolitan area.
Cheryl learned the nuts and bolts of government contracts and cost accounting first hand working with local governments in acquisitions and financial management. This combined experience led her to develop a company whose product niche is government contracts and accounting support. The quality of service quickly attracted a client base including federal contractors. Her work experience includes commercial entities, non-profit financial management, government contracts and accounting standards
The Company's client base includes over fifteen companies in the federal contractor arena comprised of small businesses, 8a’s,, and graduated 8a’s. She has helped companies manage government contracts both domestic and offshore.
Streamline serves clients in the Washington Metropolitan, including Maryland and Northern Virginia, as well as throughout the Northern Neck of Virginia.

Marilyn joined Streamline upon completing a 33 year career as a civilian in the US Army and in various Defense Agencies. Recognizing the potential value of automation in support of mission objectives, she selected career options that gave her the opportunity to help the DoD realize this return.
She led the Defense Information Systems Agency initiative to define standard business processes and develop a standards based architecture for business operations when the former Defense Communications Agency was expanded to include all DoD data processing centers; as a part of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Systems Integration Program Management Office, she defined the certification process for systems compliance with the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act; and finally had the opportunity to enable the massive DoD Business Transformation effort as Chief Architect for the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture.
This experience is augmented by education, including a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, completion of the National Defense University Advanced Management Program, completion of the CIO Certificate Program, and certification as a Level III Acquisition Professional.
